The studio is built around five spaces:
a control room,
an acoustically "live" room,
an acousitcally "dead" room,
a drum booth,
and a multipurpose tracking room.
With the exception of the drum booth and "dead" room, all rooms are acoustically isolated by pairs of airlock doors and double studded walls featuring 4 layers of offset sheetrock, layers of carpet, and fiberglass batting.
Each room is connected to the central control room via multi-pair balanced snakes. Allowing cue mixes to be sent wherever needed.
The rooms share a common but isolated HVAC system, preventing bleed from room-to-room which keeps the studio quite temprate.
